Welcome to Satellite Office Updates February 2024!Host , Danielle Jones, and Co-host Lauren Scarfo, sit down with Infection Disease Preparedness Generalist, Kasey Molner. (0:20) The City of Clifton Botany Satellite Office is located at 207 Parker Ave., Clifton, NJ 07011. The City of Clifton Satellite Office opened its doors on April 8, 2022. Many members of the community attended for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony! This office is a result of the Clifton Health Department’s 2018 Community Health Assessment (CHA), which showed that there is a significant need for health-related services in the 07011 area of our City. The purpose of this office is to reduce any barriers to health care such as language, transportation and access to health insurance our residents might face and provide health services to them directly in the community. The Clifton Health Department’s bilingual staff allows our residents to feel comfortable and ensure they are connected to the services they need. Our staff loves getting to know and working with our residents. The office is shared with the Clifton Community Policing Division, who develops relationships with our community partners and residents to provide a safer Clifton. Both the Clifton Health Department and the Clifton Community Policing Division work hard to keep our Botany Village area safe and healthy. (2:05) On Feb 13, 2024, Dog licenses will be available at our Botany Satellite Office, along with Lead screenings from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. (2:15) On Feb 14, 2024, Clifton Story time, with the Clifton Public Library from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. (2:25) On Feb 15, 2024, NJ Legal Services will be there from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. (2:30) On February 16, 2024, the Social Services Division will be there from 10:00am to 12:00pm, and the Passaic County Office of Recovery from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. (2:37) On February 21, 2024, the Center for Vein Restoration will be there from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. (2:47) On February 26, 2024, the Foot Screening will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. (2:50) On February 29, 2024, Dog licenses will be back at the Satellite Office, and Lead testing as well. Bring in pots and pans that you would like tested by the Consumer Analyze for Lead; one of our nurses will also be there!
