This week on CLD Talks I speak with Gordon Mackie, who worked in CLD in different roles from 1982-2019, Gordon takes us through his journey from his positive placement experiences during his Postgrad in Community Education, working with Strathclyde Regional Council through the Urban aid programme, doing national work with the CeVe unit as part of the Scottish Community Education Council and then becoming a lecturer with both Strathclyde University and University of the West of Scotland (Lanarkshire Campus).
During this time Gordon gained his Social Science degree (70’s). Postgrad Cert in Community Education (80’s) and a Masters in Professional Studies (90’s-00).
