This episode is a discussion on how to appropriately give a student’s brain the necessary time and space to absorb information and solve problems, specifically through rest and movement. Studies show that students who are in intensive learning environments need time to process through both structured and unstructured play. While The Academy is making intentional steps to promote critical thinking, we’re also coupling that expectation with appropriate recess and break times throughout a student’s day.
