Listen "The way of the cross leads to life: Learning from the example of Patrick"
Episode Synopsis
The Patrick celebrated on St. Patrick's Day was a real person who was greatly used by God as he walked the way of the cross. He was captured and taken into slavery in Ireland as a teenager. He escaped but returned to Ireland as an adult to share the good news of Jesus. He served as a missionary in Ireland for 30 years. He is an illustration of Jesus' call to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him. As we do so we find life. This is the Sunday March 17, 2024 sermon from Triumph Lutheran Church, Ferndale, Washington by Craig Johnson. Text is Mark 8:34-35.
