First, the 119th Congress will have a Speaker, as Mike Johnson (R-LA) meets the minimum threshold to retain the position. Technically, Johnson won the vote on the first ballot. Because after three Republican Reps voted no, their colleagues kept the vote open while they managed to cajole the dissidents into switching. It's as unanimous and reflective of a mandate as Trump's popular vote win...
Then, Jim and Dom debate the merits and very obvious demerits of Merrick Garland's tenure as Attorney General.
