"I drew inspiration for this piece from the serene sounds captured in a field recording done by Ben Gale of life around a river in Ukraine. The tranquility of that moment—especially in light of Ukraine’s current circumstances—moved me to create a soundscape that both contrasts with and complements it.
"I was aiming to capture a delicate balance between beauty and unease, and the resilience of trying to live peacefully amidst conflict."
