Whenever we pray, we tend to simply tell God what we want and then hit the send button on our prayer (amen). What might it look like for us to spend time in prayer and listen to God. This morning we will walk through an incredibly intimate expression of this examination practice (examen) led by King David himself in Psalm 139. In some ways, we do this practice on a fairly regular basis with other people. This morning we will explore what it might look like to walk through the highs and lows of our days and lives with just God. The presence and movement of God is all around us, this is our invitation to simply stop and notice.
