A tradition is something that is handed down – things or ways of doing things that people have benefited from, passed off to the next generation in hopes that they will benefit the same way. Family traditions, sports, music, culture, and faith traditions can all be formative and beneficial. But can traditions become a bad thing? In our sermon series He, Greater Then Tradition, The Gospel of Mark, Chapters 7 and 8 we see how Jesus shows us that traditions themselves don’t make us right with God, but that there is One who can.
