Today, I am joined by a dear friend of mine Joanne Monck talking about a very serious & upsetting issue of hate crime. Sadly Joanne has been subject to truly awful hate crime just recently and so I really wanted her to come on and tell us what a huge issue hate crime is, how it has personally affected her and how she is fighting back. Putting a Facebook group into action for support & talking about what needs to change! I am truly upset my friend has had to go through this hell and it has just really hit home how serious, soul-destroying, and life ruining hate crime is! For me, it has really opened my eyes and I just really wanted Joanne to come on today and share some hints, tips, advice and share how she is really fighting back!! She is a hero in so many ways. She could have allowed this to beat her, but she has turned a huge negative into a positive and we all need to take strength and motivation from her story. THANK YOU Joanne.
