Saint Mark (also known as John Mark) is best known as the author of one of the four Gospels. Indeed, the Gospel he wrote was the earliest written of the four. He was the first bishop of Alexandria, and for this reason is especially revered in Egypt's Coptic Church. In this episode we discuss Mark's role in the early Christian church, including his interactions with Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
