Listen "EP 65 | Anxiety in Teens: How Can Art Help "

Episode Synopsis

More and more studies show alarming rates of anxiety in pre-teens, high school, and college students. Other mental health issues can go hand-in-hand including cutting, drug addiction, gang affiliation, and gun violence.

We recently chop't it up with Jada Cassidy, Founder and Owner of Jcassidys. Art. She is a high school artist who's identified the need for a platform that empowers young artists to sell their artwork. She's working to fill that need by organizing an event that does just that.
Jada is on a mission to shift the mindset of today's youth towards a progressive and self-expressive stance. She founded a budding Art business and uses her talents to inspire the next generation.
She spoke candidly about her anxiety and how she uses art to empower and keep her focus on what's important. "Made to Inspire" is highlighted in Jada-Cassidy's poem to encourage others to embrace their differences and be proud of who they are.
