Listen "O'Hare Airport postpones its plans to start building new terminals"
Episode Synopsis
Since May 2024, according to a report by CRAINS, United and American Airlines intensified their competition and rapidly increased the amount of their flights at O’Hare.
Now, the City of Chicago says the high volume of passengers means it can't afford to close Terminal 2 and build a Global Terminal and two satellite terminals by 2029.
O'Hare officials say plans for completion of those three projects have been pushed back to 2033.
