"Mediation of Mercy"This chapter almost seems out of place amongst the histories of David and Saul, which is why it has always captivated me (God loves to surprise us in life’s narratives with downloads of His goodness, and that’s what He is doing here in David’s life). We meet one of my heroes of the faith, and we catch a glimpse of God through her bold actions that reveal, once again, a powerful and life-saving characteristic of God in a tangible way: His mercy.
