From creating images and layouts on the go during a shared journey in Texas to treating the book as an evolving dialogue over many years, they discuss collaboration as a method for thinking, making, and navigating change and uncertainty. Fryd Frydendahl and Jacob Birch reflect on their shared projects as spaces for experimentation, where personal relationships and chance encounters influence design decisions and shape the final work.
