September 3, 2025 | In week one of “Finally Jesus,” we open 1 Peter to marvel at the long-awaited salvation now revealed in Christ. Tracing the thread from Old Testament prophecy to New Testament fulfillment, we explore how the prophets searched for it, the Spirit testified to it, and even angels long to look into it—culminating in the good news that Christ is in us, the hope of glory. With gratitude for living “on this side of the cross,” we’re challenged to steward the gospel beyond head knowledge—sharing it with neighbors and nations as those who have been rescued and transformed.
