This week we analyse why our community waits so long to ask for medical help. Are we just too lazy or scared or worried about what others will say? We look back at the old days when we’d go to the GP surgery for a family trip, to now where we just can’t get in front of a GP.This is the basis of our first event Raising Awareness of Breast Cancer in the South Asian community, which will take place on 9th October 11am-3pm at The Punjabi Community Centre in Swindon.
