Listen "S2E7 June 30"
Episode Synopsis
It's that time of year again! Where we advisers put ourselves under huge amounts of pressure to meet the deadline of the end of the financial year. From superannuation contributions to CPD points to those hardy souls still running on a year-end FDS regimen, it's a time of strain, pressure and, to be honest, sacrifice. So Jordan and Nathan spend some time in this week's episode discussing what June 30 often means for financial advisers how that experience can be improved the value in respecting your own boundaries the unfortunate reality of us being blamed for the mistakes and shortcomings of others (including clients...gasp). They discuss some of the tactical elements that arise this time of year, but the point of this episode is to encourage advisers to be kind to themselves and to not let our people-pleasing instincts cause us to give too much to this thing we do.
