Sunday, February 12, 2023 - This week's message stays on the same theme as Living the Christian life, titled "Run to Win." Our text is still found in Hebrews 12:1-3 where the writer describes the Race we are to run. It's defined by three major areas. 1. We must run with determination and perseverance. 2. The course we run is marked out for us. 3. We are to fix our eyes on Jesus. We discover some exciting and encouraging Godly truths as we work through these points, starting with point 3. God is good, just, loving, and yet demanding. He is the only one qualified to "mark out the race course, yet so many times, we are tempted to alter the course when it seems too hard and demanding. So, we're tempted to either give up or change it to meet our fleshly desires. The enemy is subtle and deceiving. We must run the race with determination to not drift off course by him or even our misguided feelings. Worship and study along with us as we "run to Win."
