Would you describe yourself as a religious person? Do “actions”, such as going to church regularly, define you as religious? Maybe you also pray, read your Bible, and give regularly. Some may fast occasionally or serve often. Does that make you a religious person? Many people in this world are extremely religious as defined by their faithful practice of “religious” actions as their prescribed path to God and to salvation. They are working hard at religion because they believe it is how someone pleases God and hopefully earns his blessing. But does it? What does God think of religious actions?
