There has been a more recent emphasis on the effects of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and application of Trauma Informed Care as it relates to the patient populations that we serve. However, there have not been many studies on how doctors' personal experiences with ACEs or other life changing situations can affect the way that we relate and interact with our patients.
