Listen "Psalm 5"
Episode Synopsis
We can expect God to deal justly with those who rebel against him and mercifully with those who take refuge in him. (Psalm 5)
Sermon “Crumbs” Notice the artistry of Psalm 9’s structure. The poem has five stanzas: verses 1-3 / 4-6 / 5-8 / 9-10 / 11-12, with focus alternating be-tween God and us (stanzas 1, 3, and 5) and God and the bad guys (stanzas 2 and 4). God is the unifying personage in the whole poem, looming large in all five stanzas. Also note that Psalms 3 and 5 are morning prayers, Psalms 4 and 6 evening prayers.
