We sit down with Max & Eric of Cincinnati, Ohio noise/punk/queercore act Soy. We discuss their new albums Re​-​Energized and Johnathan, working with Liminal Dread Productions and Floorjazz Recordings, their journey as a band and the influence that being a queer band has had on their music and on the identity of the band. We talk Butthole Surfers, Ohio restaurant chains, the tragedy of Harambe's death, pretentious grocery store chains and the role of memes on a band's socials. We also spend far too long professing our collective undying love for all things Nicholas Cage among other topics.
