Listen "Who Forgives is Healed, The Healing of the Dream, Part 3, Satsang with Cate Grieves, 1MAY22"
Episode Synopsis
Cate begins with emphasizing that our only function is forgiveness. She then gives a review of the metaphysics of the Course. Our true home is with God. Oneness. Pure Love without an opposite. This is where we still are. Where we are now.We have to go from the belief in the body, back to the mind. The body doesn’t have the autonomy to get sick. All sickness is a ploy to point the finger at our brother. Jesus wants us to know what we are doing so we stop doing it. He’s asking us to choose to see our brother’s innocence. She then reads a poem called “The Daily Bread” by Helen Schucman from her book called The Gifts of God.Cate and Shannon read through Chapter 27, Section II, ‘The Fear of Healing’, paragraphs 1-12. Some key lines from this section:“Yet no one can forgive a sin that he believes is real.”“The sick remain accusers. They cannot forgive their brothers and themselves as well.”“Forgiveness is not real unless it brings a healing to your brother and yourself.”“Your body can be means to teach that it has never suffered pain because of him.”“Brother, there is no death.”“This is the law the miracle obeys; that healing sees no specialness at all.”Cate shares about forgiveness with her dad. She relates it to this section in such a powerful way.Shannon then takes everyone through a forgiveness meditation. The meditation starts at 1:01:20.The blessing at the end is not recorded. We all join in the message “Light and Joy and Peace abide in you, my dear holy brother.”Blessings!xoxo
