Listen "Season 2 Episode 3: Fantasy and Dystopias Pull From History "
Episode Synopsis
*brief mention of war* *When I was referring to the past, I was referring to contemporary history.*Fantasy, dystopias and fantasy all have a lot more in common than I originally thought. In this episode, I sit down with Caitlin (she/her), a 26 year old historian and fantasy author thinks working on a novel is like solving a complex puzzle. In this episode of season two, we discuss Caitlin's two projects heavily involved in Greek and Roman mythology, the difference between the Swiss and US postsecondary education, how writing is a universal language, how history is a basis for making worlds from scratch, how hard it is to find a balance of what part of a wip to share with others, and so much more. Our opinions and experiences are our own. This was filmed in August before everything happened. You can find Caitlin on Twitter and Instagram @caitlinkwrites.Email: [email protected] for inquiries, comments, questions, and general feedback.Note: I will not respond to any dms on social media about inquiries, comments, question and general feedback.Twitter, Instagram, and Threads: cassjackson_22Come to Camp Fairwood and hang out with some amazing people :D https://discord.gg/ZC8mSZqUcd (invite never expires) Hosted on Acast.
