James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” One of the great promises of Scripture is found in the book of James, where God says that if you ask for wisdom, He will give it to you and will not withhold—if you believe that He will. So the question is, are you reading God’s Word and asking Him for wisdom as you read it? We shouldn’t just want to learn God’s Word, which is great in itself, but you and I should want the wisdom that comes with it. Ask Him to help you apply that wisdom to every area of your present life and your future. Remind Him that this is one of the great promises in the Bible.
