How did you come to be a husband?  What intense training course did you go through?  How many husbands did you observe doing it well?  If you are like me, "husbandry" was not something I was prepared for.  I have learned by trial and error.  My training has been more like playing jazz with no sheet music.  Many men like me then wise up and actually pull out our Bibles and look for instruction.  At first glance, one might come to the conclusion that a husband should assume the position of doormat.
