Listen "Commit"
Episode Synopsis
On this episode of Canterbury Cast, we conclude our series Come, Connect, Commit. Senior Pastor Keith Thompson preaches from 1 Peter 4:8–11, where Peter paints a picture of what the church should be: a community marked by constant love, gracious hospitality, faithful stewardship, and service through the gifts God has given us. Keith reminds us that commitment isn’t about perfection, it’s about faithfulness. Together, we are called to live out our faith in ways that strengthen the body of Christ and build God’s kingdom.
What might change in our lives, and in the life of our church, if we truly committed to love, hospitality, stewardship, and service? As we wrap up this Come, Connect, Commit series, we’re reminded that following Christ is a journey of showing up, living in authentic community, and faithfully committing our lives to God’s work. Together, these steps shape us into the church God calls us to be, one built on love, hospitality, stewardship, and service.
