Carolina played a much better game, but still fell to Tampa Bay, 3-0. The Canes allowed a power play goal late in the first period that proved to be enough for the Lightning. Brayden Point's deflection of a Victor Hedman shot fluttered past Pyotr Kochetkov for the only goal the Bolts would need, sending the Canes to their 3rd straight loss. The Hurricanes will try to snap their losing streak on Thursday night against the Seattle Kraken at PNC Arena.
