The Gunner, Steve Sir, pulls up on Canada Hoops! Steve joins Matty to share his outstanding career and basketball story. Steve tells us about growing up in Edmonton, Alberta and playing at Ross Sheppard High School. Steve reflects on his time representing and breaking scoring records with Alberta Basketball and moving on to play NCAA Division I basketball. While in college Steve tells us what it meant to set the all time 3 point percentage record for a single season, cementing him as one of the all time best shooters. Steve tells Matty about starting his professional career and of course Steve goes deep about his 2016 Summer League experience with the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. Steve also tells us how important the CEBL is to the growth of basketball in Canada. And of course, Steve tells us about recently representing Canada in the FIBA 3X3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament, reflects on what the game has meant to him in his life and gives us a great Top 5 of all time for Canada Basketball.
