Mr Subhash Chandra Garg as an IAS Officer, has served as the Economic Affairs Secretary and Finance Secretary of India. He has also served as an Executive Director in the World Bank. Mr. Garg visualises himself as a “policy analyst, policy craftsman and strategist and an advocate” for developing the right kind of economic and financial policy framework in India. Even after having left his office as the Finance Secretary, Mr. Garg remains active in the policy space with invaluable commentary on government policies on social media and on his blog.
