Listen "Eric Roberts "
Episode Synopsis
This Wednesday on Calling Old Hollywood, you know him from ‘The Pope of Greenwich Village’, ‘Runaway Train’, ‘The Expendables’, ‘Star 80’, ‘The Dark Knight’, and countless other films and television shows. My guest is Actor Eric Roberts.
I’ve wanted to interview Eric for awhile for sentimental reasons. Growing up, my Mothers favorite film was 1995 drama ‘Saved by the light’. My mother passed when I was 12 and I’ve always wanted to share with Eric what that film meant to her, and how it’s become a beautiful reminder for me of her. He was very touched to hear this, and we spoke in depth about his portrayal as Dannion Brinkley. We also touched on showbiz, purpose, the importance of pursuing dreams, past films he’s done, and more.
