Episode Synopsis
"Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?" – Martin Luther King, Jr.In this Season 5 opener, we meet Capt. Ramesh Babu, Sainik School Kazhakkoottam alumnus and a man whose life embodies service — in uniform and beyond. For 25 years in the Indian Navy, he served with distinction aboard INS Trishul, INS Veer, and INS Mumbai, where precision, discipline, and dedication were a way of life. Even then, his passion for history shone through as he created the Calicut Heritage Trails to raise funds for underprivileged children.Retiring in 2021, he returned to his village in Central Kerala and co-founded “Spice of Life”, a charitable trust providing medical care, education, and rural empowerment. From the decks of warships to the heart of his village, Capt. Ramesh proves that service is a lifelong calling.
