Episode Synopsis
Keith and C-Mac highlight the encouraging trends from a series sweep over the Royals, and declare Gleyber Torres untradeable as the Yankees’ best hitter right now (3:40). Plus, with the Jose Trevino injury, the Yankees need to get a catcher at the trade deadline (13:00), and the Yanks need to stop letting players play through these kinds of injuries when they’re clearly not themselves (14:30). The bullpen is looking much shakier than early in the season, and C-Mac says they no longer have the best bullpen in baseball (18:30). Plus, the Yankees can’t afford to have two struggling rookies on the left side of the infield in Anthony Volpe and Oswald Peraza (21:00), and looking ahead to the Subway Series, which is a very important two games (25:00).
