Buster the Bus visits the beach but quickly gets stuck in the sand. Sandy the Seagull appears, and Buster manages to free himself. He then encounters Digly, who is digging enthusiastically and accidentally gets sand on Buster. Sandy finds a bucket and spade, and together she and Buster build a small, perfect sandcastle. Buster is amazed to see Digly has constructed a massive sandcastle. However, while going to admire it, Buster falls into the large hole Digly dug for sand.
