Moses Meets His Maker (v1-6).
A God who speaks. A God calls.
A God who is holy. A God who is personal.
A God who reveals. A God who desires to be known.
A God who forgives sin. A God who knows us by name.
Moses Meets the God Who Cares (v7-12).
Not a distant deity.
‘I will be with you’.
Immanuel means ‘God with us’.
Moses Meets God by Name: ‘I AM’ (v11-15).
‘God’ is not a name, it’s a title.
Meeting God in Jesus
Doubting, Trusting and Accepting Jesus
Jesus IS … the ‘I AM’ statements in John’s Gospel.
Conclusion
Who is God?
Creator, Redeemer, Father, Friend. And that’s just the start!
Jesus is our Immanuel – ‘God with us’.
