She’s a comedian and writer based in Chicago, when not in the midst of a pandemic she tours with the Second City, she is a writer for Jackbox Games. In this episode we delve into their development process, and ask a lot of questions about what it’s like to write for them for someone with her writing background.
This week's cause once again is Assata’s Daughters (“AD”). They are a Black woman-led, young person-directed organization rooted in the Black Radical Tradition. AD organizes young Black people in Chicago by providing them with political education, leadership development, mentorship, and revolutionary services. Through their programs they aim to Deepen, Escalate, and Sustain the Movement for Black Liberation.
