Do you know Love is Holy?The Hebrew word for holy is kodesh, derived fromthe root word kadash, which means to be set apart for aspecific purpose. Think about the special utensils in your house that you only use on certain occasions. Or the dress you save for weddings or important events—you wouldn’t wear it to play outside or go to the beach, right? Because it has been set apart. That’s what holiness means.Now, imagine knowing that love is holy, yet the world tells you that love is just sex without commitment. Do you see the contradiction? Do you feel how vulgar that sounds? It’s a complete distortion of holiness. It’s like taking salt and putting it in your eye.
