The spectrum of being courageous is vast. It can look like jumping out of a plane (with a parachute) or it can look like having a conversation. Sometimes it even takes courage just to get out of bed and start your day. Courage isn't the lack of fear, it's the embracing of it. Most of the time things are scary because it's something we've never done before. Including courage in your life is important because it allows you to face challenges with strength and resilience.
Building courage within yourself is essential for personal growth and development. It allows you to overcome obstacles and challenges that may have previously held you back. Courage also enables you to take risks and pursue your goals with confidence. Ultimately, developing courage within yourself can lead to a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
3 Ways To Build Courage:
Embrace your vulnerability and take risks, even if there is a chance of failure. Failure isn't the end of the world, it's the beginning of a new one.
Step outside of your comfort zone and try new things. Start with small things like trying a new flavor of ice cream or take a new route to work. Something that throws off the "routine" so that you can begin to experience what it's like to live, outside of your comfort zone.
Speak up for yourself and your beliefs, even if it's difficult. I am a huge advocate for speaking your truth. If you're not used to doing it, it can take a Lot of courage.
