The reason tragedy is prevalent in our world is many people are not building their lives on sure foundations. In Mathew chapter 7, Jesus taught a parable of two houses. One house survived a storm, the other did not. The difference wasn’t the material the houses were built with. The difference was the foundation the houses were built on. The importance of building our lives, hopes, dreams and families on a godly foundation cannot be overemphasized. We all face difficult situations.
