Laura Purtell is a senior editor in ESPN's investigative unit. Before joining the investigative team in 2019, she was a senior editor for espnW, responsible for feature storytelling around women's sports. She joined ESPN in 2015 from Bloomberg News, where she was most recently the team leader for -- and helped create -- the group covering and tracking executive compensation. Previously, she covered Wall Street and banking as a reporter on Bloomberg's finance team.In this episode, we chat about what it's like to work at ESPN, how to manage imposter syndrome and how to balance motherhood with her career.
