On May 7th, 2024, DJP hosted an impactful community forum featuring the candidates vying for the Denver District Attorney position. Partnering with influential organizations like The Denver Task Force for Reimagining Policing and Public Safety, the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition, Women Uprising, and brother jeff, we facilitated a dynamic conversation on critical issues. The candidates shared their visions for criminal legal system reform, commitment to collaborating with community leaders, advocating for alternatives to mass incarceration, and ensuring transparency in charging practices to combat racial biases.
