Send us a textThe Fruit of the Spirit is a single cluster of fruit, like a cluster of grapes with distinct, individual grapes making up that cluster. That means that the Holy Spirit is working this entire cluster in me, not just one or two of those listed. One of those individual distinctives is self-control. If the Holy Spirit is in control of my life, as I have been filled by Him, then He is going to grant me the desire and the ability to have self-control.  We are in a war, and the battleground is our mind. As much as our enemy is after a person’s heart and soul, the frontline is the mind. Self-control, as a product of the Holy Spirit living in us as we walk with Him, is desperately needed to win this fight. The good news is the Bible says, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ.”
