We all want to spend our lives doing something that matters. None of us wants to feel like our efforts are pointless. Yet, when we think it through, we sense the futility of trying to create something that lasts beyond a brief moment. What are we to do with this disconnect? On the one hand, we want to matter. On the other, we know that we are but dust and to dust we will return.
