Next, we learn that intimacy is not a one-time event but rather the result of daily habits. Like Daniel, we must actively seek to deepen our relationship with God through consistent prayer and study of scripture. Finally, we see that what we may initially view as a restriction or limitation can actually serve to create intimacy with God. As we trust in him and rely on him even in difficult circumstances, we grow closer to him and gain greater understanding of his ways. This sermon encourages us to strive for intimacy with God and to trust in his plan for our lives.
