Sara Jukes brings a message on finding our first love with Jesus as part of the series, ‘Back to Basics.’ In Revelation 2, the church in Ephesus had fallen away from God and failed to rank God first in everything. God desired to renew their confidence and trust in Him and offered them a hope and a promise of a remedy to find Him again. Firstly, we must remember and keep on remembering where we have come from and who we are in Him. We are from the love that Jesus showed us at the Cross. Secondly, when we get things wrong, God asks us to repent and return; He desires to change our heart, mind and attitude so we can adopt a new attitude of love. Finally, God has His arms wide open and is waiting to restore us so that we can shine bright, feel safe and secure and be victorious.
