Listen "Give Yourself a Pass Mark"
Episode Synopsis
Looking at the trials and tests over the past season, John walks us through the Kingdom perspective with which we should approach grading ourselves. Scripture has already given us a clear picture of God's intentions toward us – His plans for us are good and He wants us to succeed! Hallelujah!
John Share 5 Grids that can help us stay on course through the 'grading' process:
Always examine through the lenses that God is winning and He always wins. (Romans 8:31; Colossians 3:1-4)
God is large and in charge – working everything out according to His purpose (Romans 8:18;23 & Ephesians 1: 3-14)
There are 2 opposing operating systems, and we get to choose from which system we operate from: Love or Fear (1 John 4:16-19; 2 Timothy 1:7)
There were 2 trees in the garden. The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the Tree of Life. We choose from which tree we get our sustenance.
The Fruit of the Spirit is a plumbline for how to assess ourselves.
