He has extensive experience designing employer benefit plans and created the acclaimed “Benefit Calibration Tool©” to analyze people’s current risk balanced with their work benefits. Dan is an accomplished public speaker who has educated thousands of consumers on financial risk and strategies to address possible liabilities.
He has served on the boards of directors of charities and industry groups.
Dan is passionate about bringing awareness to the need to prepare for the wonders of the "New Longevity" and the risks. He is the author of the soon-to-be-released book, "Aging Gracefully, Planning Thoughtfully: Financial Planning Strategies for Dementia and Long-Term Care" Dan lives with his wife Karen in Maryland, near Washington, D.C. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren.
