Sal starts with a bone to pick with A-Rod for not inviting him to the NYC premiere of his new HBO documentary, Alex vs. A-Rod. The conversation quickly turns into a fiery on-air confrontation when BT reveals that he did get the invite from A-Rod's nephew but "dropped the ball" by not passing it along to Sal because he was sick with a high fever. Sal, seeing a missed chance to walk the red carpet and connect with a star, now pivots, demanding BT "milk the teat" and use his direct A-Rod connection to get the Yankees legend on the show immediately while he's still in New York. The two debate the sincerity of A-Rod's "good dude" persona versus his value as a "get" for their show.
