Brain Injury Expert and ABI Wellness CEO Mark Watson sits down with Karen Mason and Dr. Paul van Donkelaar, founders of SOAR Project. SOAR, Supporting Survivors of Abuse and Brain Injury through Research, (www.soarproject.ca) is a multi-disciplinary, community-engaged, research partnership between UBC - Okanagan and Kelowna Women’s shelter in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Their goal is to increase knowledge, education, and awareness, and ensure women who have experienced brain injury at the hands of a partner get the trauma-informed services and support to move on to a healthy abuse-free life.
