Joining us is Cody Van Felden. She grew up in foster care and is here to talk about her life in care and what foster kids need to grow resilient.
Today, she's a project coordinator for Pa'Lante Collaborative Services, and she's going to tell us about the California HOPE program, which will be providing kids who age out of the system with cash to help them get their lives started. This is an amazing program and a really amazing policy achievement, and we will also be having funds available for kids who lost a parent during COVID.
